Despite the heat, CPWS volunteers helped with The Family Center Mobile Food Giveaway on May 24 . Nine volunteers representing different divisions of the company worked to unload, organize, bag, and distribute over 25,000 lbs. of food to community residents.
Doug Burgess, Vice President of Power Operations said, ” It is fulfilling to be able to give back to the community we serve.” Burgess expressed that we are fortunate to have a workforce willing and able to go beyond our everyday roles to provide help to those in need. As a community leader, CPWS values stewardship and hopes to continue serving when called upon.
