CPWS Power Maintenance Planned for Late April and Early May

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has scheduled maintenance on a power line that has the potential to cause an extended outage to Columbia Power and Water Systems’ West Columbia Substation. The scheduled maintenance will occur on April 18-19, April 25-26, and May 2-3, 2020 between the hours of 10:00PM-7:00 AM. CPWS crews will be working diligently to keep power service on to all customers during the TVA scheduled maintenances, however; customers may experience an outage of up to 10 hours. To help maintain electric service, CPWS asks that customers reduce their power usage during these maintenance hours.

General services areas that may be affected include Trotwood Avenue, Cayce Lane, Rutherford Lane, Hampshire Pike, Williamsport Pike, Santa Fe Pike, and North James Campbell Boulevard. The following subdivisions may also be affected; Idlewild, Valewood, Bradford Place, Westfield, Westwood, Hunters Glenn, Graymere, and Rolling Fields.
