Your monthly billing will consist of charges for electrical usage and water consumption, as well as sewage and sanitation charges. If you have PowerNet services (cable, internet, or telephone), those charges will also appear on a monthly bill.

Night Deposit at the Main Office
Mail – P.O. Box 379; Columbia, TN 38402-0379
Bank Draft – Have your bill automatically deducted from your bank account on the due date.
Online – Pay with a MasterCard or Visa Credit Card or Check by Internet through a secure connection.
NOTICE: Any payments made online will be posted the following business day, and will be subject to any late fees and/or reconnect fees incurred if payment is received late.
Check by Phone – Simply call us at 388-4833 and have your check ready.
Should you have any questions concerning the sanitation charges, please contact the City of Columbia Sanitation Department at 931-388-8650.
Questions regarding sewage charges should be directed to the City Waste Water Department at 931-388-2419.
We are at your service 24 hours a day.
In the event your power should go off after hours or during holidays, call us at 388-4833. However, before you call, make sure the problem is with CPWS and not your equipment to avoid any service call charges.
For broadband (Internet, TV, Phone) outages after hours or during holidays, please call 388-4833.

Round up your Columbia Power and Water Systems payment to the nearest dollar and consider adding an additional monthly donation. This money will go directly to the schools you designate and will only be spent on classroom technology.
